The Motivational Paradox

Finding a solution

When you use the psychotherapeutic paradigm, the motivational worker sets limits and demands for the client. In other words, the unmotivated client must come to sessions, be free from drugs, be able to reflect, and so forth. As a result, the latter has to be reasonably well-functioning.

Consequently, this leads to a paradox: the clients with the most need help receive the least. In contrast, those who needed the most minor help gained the most.

Motivational Work is solving this paradox so that the clients with the most need help receive the most.

All my professional life, I have been passionate about spreading knowledge on how to solve the motivational paradox.
